Qualification : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Merchandising, Fashion, or related field preferred.
Annual Salary (CTC) : As per Industry

Proven experience as a Jewellery Buyer or similar role in the
retail industry.
Strong understanding of jewellery materials, craftsmanship,
and industry standards.
Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in retail math.
Proficient in using retail management software.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to travel as needed to meet with suppliers and attend
industry events.
Strong organizational and decision-making skills.

Develop and implement buying strategies that align with the
company’s target market and financial goals.
Source new suppliers and negotiate with existing suppliers to
secure the best prices, quality, and service.
Attend trade shows, auctions, and vendor meetings to keep up-to-
date with industry trends and form beneficial relationships with
suppliers.
Analyze market trends and customer preferences to make
informed purchasing decisions.
Collaborate with the merchandising and marketing teams to
ensure that product offerings are on-brand and marketed
effectively.
Manage inventory levels to optimize sales and minimize
overstock.
Oversee the quality control process to ensure all purchased items
meet the company’s standards.
Prepare and manage the jewelry purchasing budget.

Regularly review and assess supplier performance to ensure
compliance with contractual agreements and quality standards.
